This album is intensely personal for me. I wrote and recorded it in about a week, with the lyrics taking up most of the time. Like most of my music, most of the tales in the songs are real, and they revolve around finding strength and courage in the face of sadness and the hurt that life sometimes hits a person with. Whatever you're facing, I hope they help you in some form.

A Stranger Who Listened is for all of the people out there who are suffering, yet who get up every day, look sadness and fear and shame in the face and say, "You know what? I'm stronger than you," and then proceed to live their lives in spite of what is plaguing them. I am always in awe of you. Always and forever.
