The songs on this album are based off of experience and David Bowie's beautiful song "Heroes". It tells the story of a romance that could have been between two broken people. It is also my quickest album to come together, for I wrote and recorded the five originals in around three hours.

Thank you so much to both the Denton Wesley Foundation and Lakewood Methodist Church for letting me use their pianos just for one day apiece.

Also, thank you to Emily for getting me hooked on Bowie some time ago, and for being the first set of ears to hear this little guy. And thank you to my hero of one day, for inspiring me and believing in me.

All tracks except for "Heroes" were recorded in Lakewood Methodist Church on the night of 16 September 2016.

"Heroes" was recorded in the Denton Wesley Building on 15 September 2016.
